Privacy Policy

Overview

Strominger is designed with privacy in mind. We collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service and do not sell your personal information to third parties.

This policy applies to the Strominger iOS app and any associated website (voltio.app).

Data We Collect

Strominger collects very little data:

• Country / grid zone — chosen by you during onboarding, stored locally on your device. Used to fetch the correct spot price feed.
• Device configurations — names, wattage and run times you enter. Stored locally on your device only.
• Anonymous crash reports — if the app crashes, a report containing device type, iOS version and a stack trace may be sent via Apple's built-in crash reporting. This contains no personally identifiable information.
• App Store analytics — Apple may collect aggregated, anonymized usage statistics through the App Store. We receive only aggregate numbers, never individual-level data.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No account, email address or name is required or collected.
• No location data is accessed or stored.
• No advertising identifiers (IDFA) are read or shared.
• No third-party analytics SDKs are included in the app.

Spot Price Data

Electricity price data is fetched from publicly available European energy market APIs (ENTSO-E and regional grid operators). These requests do not include any user-identifying information — only your selected country code is sent as a query parameter.

Local Storage

All your settings and device configurations are stored locally in your device using standard iOS secure storage (UserDefaults / Keychain where appropriate). This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use an iOS system backup.

Push Notifications

If you enable price alerts, notifications are triggered exclusively on your device.

Children's Privacy

Strominger is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through an in-app message or App Store update notes.
