Which countries are supported? ▾
Strominger supports all major European grid zones including Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Portugal, Romania and more. Coverage expands as new markets become available.
Where does the price data come from? ▾
Prices are pulled from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform (EPEX) and regional day-ahead market operators. Data is updated in 15-minute intervals and reflects published spot prices for your selected grid zone.
Do I need an account to use Strominger? ▾
No. Strominger requires no account, no email address and no sign-up. Download, pick your country, and you're ready to go.
How does device scheduling work? ▾
You add your devices (e.g. washing machine, dishwasher, EV charger) with their wattage and typical run time. Strominger looks at today's price curve and tells you the cheapest window to start each device, along with a live countdown.
Can Strominger control my devices automatically? ▾
Not directly. Strominger shows you when to start a device and can send you a push notification as a reminder. Direct smart-home integration (e.g. HomeKit, Matter) is on our roadmap.
Why is the price data delayed or missing? ▾
Day-ahead prices for the next day are typically published between 12:00 and 14:00 CET by the market operators. If you check before that window, tomorrow's prices won't be available yet — this is expected behaviour and not a bug in Strominger.
How do I enable price alerts? ▾
Go to the Pricings List and long tap a price entry in the future to set a price alert.
Is Strominger free? ▾
The core app — live prices, cheap windows and the home screen widget — is completely free. Some advanced features may be available via an optional in-app purchase in the future.
How do I delete my data? ▾
All your data (device configurations, settings) is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app removes all data immediately. We don't hold any personal data on our servers, so there's nothing to request deletion of. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
I found a bug. How do I report it? ▾
Please email app@strominger.at with a short description of what happened, your iOS version, and the steps to reproduce the issue. Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful.
